Description:
The SIFE After School program is a brand-new 4-H program at Belle Sherman Elementary. We work with children K-4th, specifically with recent Burmese immigrants in Ithaca. We do homework help, reading, and various activities from crafts to cooking to hiking. This program operates 2:00pm-3:30pm Mondays through Thursdays, but tutors are expected to stay 1:45pm-3:45pm to help with set-up and clean-up. Belle Sherman Elementary is an easy walk from campus, on upper Mitchell Street in Collegetown.
